Pre-class prep: Cut out Mother’s Day Craft, practice hula hoop game

Circle Time – Rules, songs, good news, prayer, Memory Scripture (John 1:1-2)

Bible Reading – Luke 1:26-38

Creative Story Telling – Have the kids talk about a time when they were scared, and then describe what the angel likely looked like, and why Mary would be afraid.

Bible Reading – Mark 3:20-21, 31-34 
Explain to the kids that even though an angel had come to tell Mary Jesus would be the Messiah, late in life, she lost her faith. But Jesus was faithful to God and to the other disciples.

Game 1 – Younger kids: Simon Says
Older kids: Heads Up, Seven Up

Bible Reading – Acts 1:12-14
Even though Mary doubted Jesus at one point in her life, she believed in Him when He went back to Heaven.

Game 2 – Hula hoop team game

Craft 2 –  Popsicle stick daisies
